Journey Makes Billboard History

Billboard reports Journey has just made history with their "Greatest Hits" album. Only three albums in the 61-year history of the chart have spent 500 weeks or more on the Billboard 200. Journey now joins Bob Marley and The Wailers’ Legend: The Best Of Bob Marley and The Wailers (510 weeks) and the king of kings: , Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon (937).

Originally debuted on the Billboard 200 in December of 1988, the 15-track collection covers the band's best from 1977-1986. To date, it has sold over 15 million copies in the U.S. alone.  The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer's are on a co-headlining bill with Def Leppard this Summer and visit Fenway Park August 11th. Cheap Trick has also been added to the bill.
