Via UPI HBO decided to take advantage of the latest drone tech to help promote the season premiere of it's show "Silicon Valley". They had drones deliver over 700 Pizzas in the cities of San Francisco, New York and Los Angeles yesterday to Twitter users. They were instructed to tweet out a pizza emoji with the hashtag "#sliceline," (its the name of a fictional app from the show.) We can only wonder if this will be become the new norm for pizza delivery in the near future. Sure this sounds like a good idea on the surface, but what happens when people start hijacking the drones, knocking them out of the sky and stealing the Pizzas? Sorry was that too pessimistic?
