via bleacherreport    Despite the fact that UFC star Conor McGregor hasn't fought since the August 2017 "Money Fight" boxing match with Floyd Mayweather Jr., he has kept busy with another career venture. He's been directly involved with the creation and development of his own, signature brand of Irish Whiskey. He teamed up with master distiller and former Guinness maestro, David Elder.

Proper No. Twelve Irish whiskey set to launch this month in packies everywhere. Conor originally wanted to give it his nickname of "Notorious", but he ran into some legal and trademark issues. Instead this liquid gold takes its name from hometown in Dublin, Ireland. In the article, he says:

"I come from a place called Crumlin, in Dublin 12. It's a place dear to my heart. It's where I learned how to fight, it made me who I am today. It's a place I'm still very much a part of every single day of my life. So, that's where the name came from. It's proper Irish whiskey and twelve is my hometown."

The 80-proof booze will retail for about $25/bottle. Meanwhile, he's slated to return to the octagon  October 6th vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov.
