Is Coca-Cola Looking into Marijuana-Infused Drinks?

via usmagazine        With the widespread legalization of Marijuana across many states and the blossoming retail business associated with the industry, soda giant, Coca-Cola is reportedly keeping an eye on things.  A handful of Beer brewers have already begun concocting libations with cannabis including Molson Coors Brewing Co. Word from the beer biz is Guinness and Corona aren't far behind. It isn't a stretch to imagine arguably the world's largest soft drink corporation could get in on the action by developing CBD-infused soft drinks. CBD is the the non-psychoactive ingredient in marijuana that treats pain without a resulting high.  A spokesman for the company recently told Bloomberg

We are closely watching the growth of non-psychoactive CBD as an ingredient in functional wellness beverages around the world. The space is evolving quickly. No decisions have been made at this time.”
