Plane Makes Emergency Landing At The Beach. People Pull Out Phones.

As if we don't have enough to worry about at the beach, Great White Sharks, jellyfish, ripe tides, flesh eating bacteria, bad music from the group at the next blanket, now we have to watch out for small planes.

As the eyewitness video says, it shows a small plane slamming into the sea off the coast of Ocean City, Maryland, in front of a busy beach, with the 23-year-old pilot swimming to shore and later reporting he lost engine power before putting the plane down in the water.

And what's the first reaction of everyone on the beach? Swim out to the plane to pull the pilot out? Find a lifeguard with a flotation device? No, they grab their phones to record it.
