Remember that dope who shined a laser in Tom Brady's eyes during the AFC Championship Game between the New England Patriots and the Kansas City Chiefs? His name is Dwyan Morgan, pronounced "Duh-Wayne," a 64 year old guy from Lee's Summit Missouri, and he says he's a huge Chiefs fan. So after Duh-Wayne says he had one too many beers, he thought it would be a good idea to help his team by shining a laser pointer in The GOAT's eyes during the 4th quarter, not once, not twice, but 4 times!
In an interview with Inside Edition he said he never thought his actions would draw so much attention, "I didn't think it would go this far," he said. "I shouldn't have done it." Duh-Wayne also said he regrets the embarrassment the incident has caused the Chiefs and their fans.
Yesterday he had his day in court. The charges could have meant a year in jail and a $1,000 fine, but after pleading guilty, the judge went easy on him, fined him $500, and closed the case.
As far as apologizing to the guy he almost blinded with a laser? "I'm not gonna apologize to Brady or the Patriots." You stay classy Kansas City...
