Via Boston.com. With the bitter taste of last year's finish to the Stanley Cup Finals still in our mouths, a bit of good news as the new season gets ready to get underway.
EA Sports’ “NHL20” season simulation predicted Tuesday the Bruins would defeat the Vegas Golden Knights in six games to notch their first Cup since 2011, and Marchand is the hero! They say the road to Lord Stanley's Cup will have the Bruins beating the Toronto Maple Leafs in seven games in the first round, the Tampa Bay Lightning in six games in the second round, and the Washington Capitals in six games in the Eastern Conference Finals.
The black and gold start on the road this Thursday in Dallas and return home to the refurbished TD Garden to play The Devils on Saturday the 12th. Maybe moving the Bobby Orr statue to the new Garden entrance on Causeway St. will bring them luck.
