'Tis the Season, for taking down all the of the Holiday lights and decor, including that Christmas Tree that's been dropping needles like a Nor'Easter this past week. Sure, many Towns and Cities let you dispose of your festive beacon of light by just dragging it the curb on trash day. Once again, as in year's past, some area Farms are offering an alternative for our used, woodland decorations.
Shay’s Flock of Fun Farm in Townshend, Mass. are asking the public to donate their Christmas Trees to their Goats. It seems they love chowing down on them. Last year alone they collected about 200 trees. Just make sure to remove all the lights, decorations and pesky tinsle.
