Luke Aikins is a world class skydiver, and this weekend, a feat he accomplished in 2016 was making the rounds on social media. I just stumbled across this while I watched the rain pound down and had no idea how it was going to end.
I won't give away the ending, but it's pretty amazing. He broke the Guinness World Record for the highest skydive WITHOUT A PARACHUTE!
He jumps out of the plane at 25,000 feet with a bunch of other skydivers who have chutes, and keep in mind, he was doing this on live TV with a 5 second delay, so if the screen went dark the audience would know Luke had a bad day. Watch the numbers tick down until the other jumpers peel away. Then I'm thinking that he has a wingsuit, but he doesn't.
