Legendary ex-Beatle Sir Paul McCartney just announced an additional date for his return to Boston’s historic Fenway Park as part of the Got Back Tour. The singer/songwriter/musician has added a show on Wednesday, June 8, in addition to his previously announced show on Tuesday, June 7.

McCartney last played Fenway on July 17, 2016, when he opened the show with The Beatles’ hit “A Hard Day’s Night,” on the way to a whopping 39 song total over three hours. Grateful Dead’s Bob Weir joined McCartney on stage that night for “Hi Hi Hi” and even then-Patriot Rob Gronkowski made an onstage appearance to dance along to “Helter Skelter.” McCartney first played the venue in 2009 (he played 34 songs that night, too). All-in, he sold out Fenway Park four times in a seven-year span.

That said, this summer’s back to back shows are sure to be epic.

Tickets for the June 8 date go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 4 at 10 a.m. at RedSox.com/PaulMcCartney. Tickets to the previously announced June 7 show are sold out, according to Live Nation.
