2 Rescued From Roof Of Lynn Home

LYNN, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Nine residents were displaced from their home on Birch Street in Lynn when a fire tore through the roof of a multi-family home Thursday morning.

Two adults were found "trapped on the little roof overhangs," fire chief Stephen Archer said. Ladders were used to get the two down to safety and no one was hurt.

State police and the fire marshal responded to the scene. The Red Cross is helping re-home the displaced residents.

There's still no word on what started the fire.
