With the Academy Awards just two months away, rock n' roll fans have a lot to look forward to.

Set to take place on Sunday, March 4th, there are a number of rock songs eligible to be nominated for Best Original Song at the 90th Academy Awards.

Most likely to be recognized by the Academy? Rock ladies Pat Benatar & Stevie Nicks alongside the late-great grunge vocalist Chris Cornell. Cornell's one-off "The Promise" was featured in a film about Armenian genocide by the same name, Benatar's "Dancing Through the Wreckage" appeared in the Veteran's documentary Served Like a Girl, and Nicks' "Your Hand I Will Never Let It Go" was recorded for the movie The Book of Henry.

You can find a full list of eligible recordings at the Oscars website.
