Coastal Concerns Following Near Miss From Storm

MARSHFIELD, MA (WBZ-AM) – The latest “four’easter” storm that was forecasted to pack a bit of a whallop for the region left little snow.

Despite the lack of snow and no serious power outages to report, the focus is on the coastal flooding and high winds.

In Marshfield, WBZ NewsRadio1030’s Kendall Buhl describes the communities near the water being flooded with ocean water and debris from the high tide.

"Parked on Ocean St in Marshfield. More Ocean than Street at the moment," Buhl said in a tweet.

The National Weather Service has issued hazardous weather conditions along the entire coast of Massachusetts and Rhode Island which include a gale wind warning until 2pm Thursday.  High winds and seas are expected.
