In just 11 days, the massive, two-wildfire-strong Mendocino Complex has scorched more than 450 square miles. It’s now the biggest wildfire ever recorded in California, covering an area of land roughly the size of Los Angeles.

The maps below show what the wildfire looks like in relation to the Greater Boston Area. As you can see, depending on the position, a wildfire of this magnitude could stretch from Woburn down to Weymouth or from the coastline all the way to Marlborough.
