BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- Former Patriots running back Dion Lewis landed on the winning side with his Titans Sunday and, after three seasons in New England, then cashing in in free agency with Tennessee, he had some choice words about his old club.

"Real sweet win, especially when you used to be there, and they didn't want to bring you back," Lewis said. "It's definitely real sweet. I'm happy my teammates came out and played, and I love these guys ... hell yeah it's personal, that's what happens when you go cheap, you get your ass kicked!"

In his weekly interview with Westwood One last night, Pats QB Tom Brady didn't blame Lewis for the emotional reaction.

"Players switch teams, that's not a news flash in the NFL," Tom Brady said. "We are who we are, 7-3 in the AFC east, six games to go. We're not 1-9, I mean, we have a great opportunity ahead of us. I respect all the guys that I played with, Dion being one of them, and I know when guys leave, they have feelings and emotions that they want to express. And look, when you win, you can probably say whatever you want, and when you lose, you don't get say much, so I think that's just part of the emotional nature of the game."

In other words, Dion, your club is 5-4. Calm down.

Pats are off for their bye this weekend.
