$1,000 Reward Offered For Missing Ring In Waltham

WALTHAM (WBZ-AM) -- The family of a 92-year-old widow is offering a big reward for a special ring that went missing.

That ring covers 70 years of Marie Gladman's life. It was custom made using diamonds from her promise ring, engagement ring, wedding band, and 50th anniversary stone.

"To me, it's, well, it's my life," Gladman told WBZ-TV.

On Friday, Gladman went out shopping at Dion's, and then the Shaw's on River Street. Somewhere along the way, the ring went missing.

A police report has been filed. Her niece, Lisa, said it's more than a ring--it's her Aunt Marie's soul. So, in hopes of getting the ring back to Marie in time for her 93rd birthday next month, Lisa's offering a $1,000 reward.

"So please, if anybody has it, return it to her," Lisa told WBZ-TV. "It's her life, it's her soul."
