Green Line B Train Derailment

BOSTON (WBZ-AM) — A Green Line train near Boston University derailed Saturday. Shuttle buses are replacing Green Line B trains between Kenmore and Babcock.

According to MBTA spokesperson Joe Pesaturo, no passengers were aboard when the train derailed and no injuries were reported. The two-car train was running out-of-service at the time of the incident. It was switching tracks when the second car derailed. The cause of the derailment is currently under investigation.

The Route 57 bus is also available to commuters for service along Commonwealth Avenue.
