Patriots Swagger: Bill Belichick Flexes His Rings for Camera at Super Bowl

For all the haters: you can take the team out of the Super Bowl, but you still gotta respect the rings! Coach let ‘em know.

Sure, the Patriots didn’t play in Super Bowl LIV, but there was no shortage of New England’s Bill Belichick, Tom Brady and the rest of the team in pre-game coverage, and even commercials, during the game.

This one, though - this was special. Not only do we rarely get an on-camera smile from Belichick, but the level of swagger he flexed with during the pre-game coverage was next level. As a crowd of mostly Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers fans gave him a less than warm Super Bowl welcome, Belichick just smiled, raised his hands, and showed ‘em his Super Bowl rings (well, three of them).

The NFL captured the moment on their Instagram feed with the comment “Show ‘em the rings, Bill:”

Tom Brady simply commented “Goat” on the Instagram post.

Dont’a Hightower also took notice, Tweeting “Ight bill I see you flexing out there:”

Keep those heads held high in the offseason, Patriots fan. We’re onto the 2020 season.
