Metallica announced the August 28 release of a variety of audio and video packages featuring the pair of S&M2 shows the group performed in 2019 with the San Francisco Symphony at the Bay Area's Chase Center. Metallica and San Francisco Symphony: S&M2 will be available in two-CD, four-record vinyl, Blu-ray or DVD and digital film versions. The "Deluxe Box" includes colored vinyl, CD and Blu-ray, plus sheet music, guitar picks and artwork. The top of the line "Super Deluxe Box" will be limited to 500 copies and include actual sheet music used by the orchestra and signed by Metallica's four members.
Metallica performed with the orchestra on September 6th and 8th in 2019 with Identical sets. In a creative twist, the band managed to feature at least one song from each of its ten studio albums. S&M2 is already available for pre-order at the band's website: https://www.metallica.com/
