Noel won a prize of more than $8,000.

The All New England Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off was started in 1984, according to the fair's website. All entries must weigh at least 300 pounds.

The Topsfield Fair is also "home to the first one ton pumpkin ever grown in the world," according to their website.
