BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — A young woman in Boston’s South End is on a mission to get her beloved Halloween wreath back after it went missing.

Halloween is Claudine Tahmin’s favorite holiday. She remembers the exact moment her wreath went missing.

“Tears welled up in my eyes a little bit,” Tahmin said. “The walk to work was very, very somber, very sad.”

Tahmin has put up dozens of flyers around the neighborhood, determined the get the wreath back. But, her neighbor, Jamie, isn’t on board.

“When I saw the flyer on my car, I thought maybe stolen dog, stolen cat, stolen something. And then I read it was a Halloween wreath and that’s really it, the sympathy goes out the door,” Jamie said.

At this point, Tahmin doesn’t expect to get the wreath back.

“Now my goal is for them to see these flyers and feel shame,” Tahmin said.
