Medford Woman Arrested Following Cambridge Hit-And-Run, Crash

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A Medford woman was arrested Saturday night after striking a teenager with her car, and then crashed while fleeing the scene.

Katrina Murphy, 20, allegedly hit the 15-year-old boy while he was walking in a crosswalk shortly before 8 p.m. at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Pearl Street.

The suspect then tried to drive away and "subsequently crashed into two parked cars," according to Cambridge Police.

The teenager was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries to his head.

Police said that Murphy is expected to be charged for the hit-and-run.
