Four Teens Badly Hurt In Fiery North Andover Crash

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Four teens are recovering after their SUV crashed and burst into flames in North Andover Wednesday night.

North Andover Police said the crash happened around 7:30 p.m. on Bradford Street, off Route 93. The SUV drove into a gully, eventually hitting a tree and boulder before spinning and landing back on the road.

It wasn't clear how, but the teens got out—as the SUV burst into flames, burning down to the frame.

One of the teens had to be airlifted to a hospital in Boston, while the other three were taken to Lawrence General Hospital with injuries ranging from moderate to serious.

The cause of the crash was not yet known.
