Patriots Game Delayed One Week Due To Another COVID-19 Case

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — If you'd planned to watch the Patriots and the Broncos game tomorrow, you may want to find new plans for your Monday night.

The Denver at New England game has now been moved to next Sunday, after the Pats facility closed again Sunday morning due to another positive COVID-19 test, which reportedly came from starting defensive tackle Byron Cowart.

Quarterback Cam Newton, reigning NFL defensive player of the year Stephon Gilmore, and practice-squad defensive lineman Bill Murray have also previously tested positive for the virus.

The Patriots were slated for a bye week next Sunday, but like so much in 2020, things don't always go as scheduled.
