Police Investigating After Motorcycle Hits, Drags State Trooper In Canton

CANTON, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Authorities are investigating after a Massachusetts State Police trooper was hit and briefly dragged by a motorcycle Tuesday night.

The incident happened shortly before 10:30 p.m. at the Shell gas station on Route 138 in Canton.

Police say the trooper was trying to speaker to the motorcyclist, along with another biker, at the time. This after MSP had gotten reports of motorcycles racing nearby.

Both of the motorcyclists then sped away, dragging the trooper a short distance. He sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
