Red Sox Prepare For A Season Without In-Person Fans

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Red Sox are playing an empty stadium, following Governor Charlie Baker signing an order. This goes for all professional baseball teams.

Although fans are not allowed in at the moment, Governor Baker said this could change:

I do know, that for today, the answer to that question, based on what we're hearing from the public health folks and others, is no. But if you were to ask me what the answer to that question would be, you know, three months from now, I think it would depend a lot on the facts on the ground, the experiences, the data collection and everything else. And it might mean the same answer, and it might now.
