Jack Clancy was appointed as the CEO of Enterprise Bank since 2007. He joined Enterprise Bank as the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer during its founding in 1988. Enterprise Bank is headquartered in Lowell, MA with 26 offices throughout the Merrimack Valley, Essex, and North Central regions of Massachusetts, and across Southern New Hampshire.
The Bank’s “people first” philosophy has been a foundational pillar of its culture since George Duncan founded the bank in 1988. The importance of valuing employees – a company’s greatest asset – and nurturing their personal and professional growth was also instilled in Jack by his late father, John Clancy, a lifelong Human Resources professional. As testament to the Bank’s commitment to their employees, The Boston Globe has recognized Enterprise Bank as an employer of choice for the past 10 years.
Jack has held numerous community board, trustee, and advisory positions over the years and currently serves as a board trustee and chairperson of the finance committee at Circle Health and Lowell General Hospital, a member of the Wellforce finance committee, a member of the Lowell Plan board of directors and Executive committee, chairperson of the board of directors of the Massachusetts Housing Partnership (MHP) and a member of MHP’s finance and compensation committees, and as a member of the New Hampshire Bankers Association board of directors.
Jack received his bachelor’s degree in Management/Accounting from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and completed the Advanced Management Program in General Leadership and Management at Harvard Business School.
Jack is a lifelong resident of the Greater Lowell area and has personal ties to the communities the bank serves. Jack is the proud father of three children and grandfather to four grandchildren. Some of his personal interests include gardening, biking, yoga, golfing and traveling.
