Aerosmith On MTV Unplugged This Day 1990

Before MTV travelled down the dark rabbitt hole of reality TV with shows like “Engaged and Underage”, they had a great show called “MTV Unplugged”.

Rock’s greatest would unplug the amps and play their songs acoustically in front of a small audience. A lot of these artists were so happy with the new versions of their songs, they would release unplugged albums.

Sadly, that wasn’t the case when Aerosmith played the Ed Sullivan Theatre on this day in 1990.  Performing blues covers and these versions of “Seasons of Wither” and “One Way Street” from their debut album, it would have been a great release.

Check out the songs, and recorded proof that this is the longest Steven Tyler ever sat down in his life.
