February 19, 1999, Office Space was released. Produced with a small $10 million dollar budget, it's the story of Peter Gibbons, a programmer at a company called Initech, who really hates his job. He spends his days trying to avoid his clueless boss from Hell, Bill Lumbergh.
"Hello Peter, what's happening? Ummm, I'm gonna need you to go ahead come in tomorrow. So if you could be here around 9 that would be great, mmmk... oh oh! and I almost forgot ahh, I'm also gonna need you to go ahead and come in on Sunday too, kay. We ahh lost some people this week and ah, we sorta need to play catch up."
The movie came and went from theaters in no time. It wasn't until it was released on DVD and then cable started showing it, that cube farm dwellers everywhere made stapler guarding Milton, "flair" lacking Jennifer Anniston, and Office Space a pop culture phenomenon.
