Via Rollingstone.com. Bruce Springsteen is a HUGE Bob Dylan fan. He's been covering his songs in concert since the seventies. In the nineties he got a chance to perform with Dylan when they did the song “Forever Young” at the Concert for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. But Bob Dylan never returned the favor and perform a Springsteen song until January 12,1990, at Toad’s Place in New Haven, Connecticut. The 700-seat club was booked at the last minute so Dylan could prepare for his upcoming South American tour. Near the end of the third set, the band kicked into Bruce Springsteen’s “Dancing in the Dark.” As you listen, you can quickly figure out that Dylan only knows about 20 percent of the words and makes up the rest. The crowd doesn't even recognize it until the chorus comes around. It's incredible! If you can tell me what words he's singing, let me know, now Dylan does Springsteen!!!
