The Who Started Their Moving On! Tour Last Night

Via Jambase.com. The Who kicked off their 2019 Moving On! tour last night at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids Michigan. During an over 2 hour performance, Roger Daltrey, Pete Townsend, and their backing band, were joined by a 49 piece orchestra that played symphonic versions of all but 4 songs over the course of the evening.

The concert began with 8 songs from the rock opera "Tommy," followed by "Who Are You." "Eminence Front," and "Join Together" finishing off the first orchestral part of the show. Then the band ripped into “The Kids Are Alright,” “Won’t Get Fooled Again,” “Behind Blue Eyes” and “Tea & Theatre” without the orchestra.

The second orchestral part of the night highlighted songs from "Quadrophenia" with the songs, “I’m One,” “The Punk & The Godfather,” “5:15,” “Drowned,” “The Rock” and “Love, Reign O’er Me.” The finale looks awesome! Violinist Katy Jacoby provided the speed violin ending to "Baba O'Riley." Check out the videos...
