Hard to believe we lost Chris Cornell two years ago tonight in Detroit. He will always be remembered for his incredible soaring vocals, and songwriting skills that could go from menacing metal to folk. Tributes have been ongoing since his passing. He was honored at the I Am the Highway tribute concert in Los Angeles featuring an incredible lineup of artists, including the Foo Fighters, Metallica, Miley Cyrus, Brandi Carlile, Chris Stapleton and the surviving members of Soundgarden, Audioslave and Temple of the Dog. Brad Pitt is working with Cornell's widow Vicky on a documentary, and back in October a statue of the singer was unveiled in his hometown of Seattle.
