Via GuitarWorld.com. Sir Paul McCartney turns 77 today, and showing no signs of slowing down, he's still playing to full houses. This Saturday he'll be doing a show at Petco Park in San Diego. The legend lives on!
In the late 90's he recorded an album of mainly 50's cover tunes called "Run Devil Run." David Gilmour of Pink Floyd helped him record it, and to promote the album, he appeared with Paul in the Beatles old stomping grounds of The Cavern Club, well, the new one, in Liverpool. They did this fantastic version of The Beatles, "I Saw Her Standing There," which seemed like a good way to celebrate. Happy Birthday Paul!
