During this extended concert downtime, Pearl Jam has been doing some live streaming shows to benefit Covid-19 relief in their home state of Washington, and helping to fill up food banks with fund raisers.
Lead singer Eddie Vedder continued the good deeds, this time out on the water. Accepting a challenge from former Red Sox GM Theo Epstein to do a, #TrickShot4Snowy, to raise money to fight ALS, he took his trick shot to a new level, while challenging Pearl Jam bandmate Jeff Ament and NHL Hall of Famer Chris Chelios to try to top him.
Wearing a Red Sox batting helmet and swinging what looks like a 32 ounce Louisville Slugger, Eddie demonstrated the classic Walt Hriniak swing, hitting one out while wakeboarding on a lake in Seattle.
