Led Zeppelin Vinyl on the Way for Record Day

Via Pitchfork  As the public demand for vinyl has soared over the last 10 years or so, Record Store Day 2018 (Sat. April 21st) brings with it some tasty offerings from the Led Zeppelin catalog. Two, never before-heard mixes of classic songs will finally see the light of day. The limited edition, 7" Yellow Vinyl features the “Sunset Sound Mix” of “Rock and Roll” and the “Olympic Studios Mix” of “Friends.” (taken from sessions for Led Zeppelin IV, and Led Zeppelin III.  It was also reported last month that the killer live trilogy How the West Was Won  will get a remaster treatment and release on Vinyl March 23rd. Both releases will lead up to the Band's 50th anniversary this September. What exactly will happen then? Only time will tell...
