Which MLB Team Enters 2018 with Highest Payroll?

Via IBTimes The 2018 Major League Baseball season is set to launch on Thursday with all 30 teams  playing opening day. It is the first time that has happened since 1968. Despite the fact that our A.L. East Rival-New York Yankees loaded up their starting 9 in the offseason with names like Giancarlo Stanton, they only ranked 7th on the list with a payroll of $165,803,032. It's not the L.A. Dodgers either. This is the first time since 2013 that the Dodgers haven't shelled out the most bucks. NO, it is none other than our beloved Boston Red Sox that enter this year's campaign with the highest payroll in all of Major League Baseball with a whopping $234,600,428. A big part of that number is Pitcher David Price's $30-million dollar salary and newly-acquired free agent,  J.D. Martinez when he signed a five-year, $110 million contract.  The Sox currently have four players earning $20-million or MORE. Let's hope all those dollar signs turn into confetti in Late October......
