Via COS Martin Scorsese just wrapped filming on his next, long-awaited mob film, The Irishman. It's the story of real-life hitman Frank Sheeran (Robert DeNiro) and his dust up with ex-union leader Jimmy Hoffa played by Al Pacino. Movie buffs will have to wait awhile to see it, however. The film has already gotten tons of press due to its lofty budget; an estimated $140-million. The main reason behind the price tag is that Scorsese turned to Industrial Light and Magic to utilize their CGI technology extensively to "de-age" Pacino and DeNiro throughout the course of their characters lives. The film is tentatively set to be released by Netflix in 2019. Joe Pesci, Bobby Cannavale and Harvey Keitel are also on board to appear.
