Via UCR Glenn Hughes, the former powerhouse bassist and vocalist of Deep Purple during the mid-70's era: *Burn , Stormbringer and Come Taste the Band (along with David Coverdale,, is taking those classics on the road this year after a few successful shows in Australia and New Zealand last year. It's being billed as "Classic Deep Purple Live with Glenn Hughes". He promises a "dynamic, a turn-back-the-clocks, two-hour live extravaganza homage to his tenure in MK 3 and MK 4 incarnations " Fans should circle September 19th on their calendars as the Tour hits our Wilbur Theater here in Boston. By the looks of it, man's has plenty left in the tank!
