It is easily one the most recognizable Band logo....maybe, ever. There's been a lot of speculation over the years as to where the 'Stones "Lips and Tongue" came from. Abc Radio News posted this fascinating look back at the history and inspiration behind it. The artist who designed the logo was a 25-year-old art student, who was paid only about $785 in today's money to produce what would be a Rock n Roll (and merchandising) icon. Recently the Victoria and Albert Museum in London sat down with the artist himself, Mr. Jon Pasche.
