U2 returns to rock TD Garden next month on the "eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE" Tour. The band's set designer told Rolling Stone that fans should expect some rare songs from the band's catalog.
"They've certainly rehearsed things they've never done before," stage designer Willie Williams - "about three quarters of the show is [different than last year's tour]," says Williams. "It's really important [to the band] that this show is forward-looking. There's still plenty of hits, but we were able to take a different stance, really."
The North American leg kicks off tonight in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
