via ABCRadioNews The sons of former Cream members have assembled musical forces to pay tribute to the Music and legacy of their Fathers (and Uncle). In honor of the 50th Anniversary of the iconic power trio, Malcolm, the son of the late, Jack Bruce on bass and vocals, Ginger Baker's son Kofi on drums, and guitarist Will Johns. The son of legendary recording engineer & producer Andy Johns (The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix). His mom is Paula Boyd, sister of Clapton's ex-wife, Pattie Boyd. So I guess he just calls Clapton: "Uncle Eric"...
The group has already played Australia and New Zealand to rave reviews. Fans will get a good run through of the catalog, but also video and photo montages on the screens behind them as Bruce says: "Now, we not only have this amazing legacy of music to play, but an opportunity to share some wonderful insights and stories with our audience...a backstage pass like no other, if you will."
