According to traveler's reviews from Trip Advisor,  Angkor Watthe largest religious monument in the world came in at #1. It's located in the Siem Reap region of Cambodia and was constructed on 402 acres in the 12th Century. Only two landmarks/tourist destinations in the United States placed in their annual list of Top 25.

Of all the landmarks, in all of the World, just San Francisco's Alcatraz Island and  Golden Gate Bridge made the list according to the site's user reviews.  Sorry, World's Largest Ball of Twine in Cawker City, Kansas. Maybe next year: Grand Canyon. Always a bridesmaid, never a bride, right? World Erotic Art Museum in Miami?
