via Led Zeppelin/Youtube Although they were billed as "The New Yardbirds", September 7th will mark the official, 50th Anniversary of Led Zeppelin's live debut. In honor of this, the soundtrack to the 1976 concert film The Song Remains The Same is getting the reissue/remaster treatment from Jimmy Page. It chronicles the historic Madison Square Garden shows from July, 1973 and features film vignettes of each band member. It will be released as a two-CD set, a four-LP vinyl collection, a Blu-ray Audio disc, in digital and streaming formats, and as a super deluxe box set. Expect some bonus, never-before-released material as well as a 28-page book featuring tons of photos, and even a replica of an original Zeppelin Tour Program.
