via Rolling Stone Last Weekend Julian's Auctions held a huge memorabilia auction out in Las Vegas at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino. As predicted the top-selling piece from the Hollywood collection was the Blaster Harrison Ford (Han Solo) used in Star Wars Ep. VI: Return of The Jedi. The wining bid came in at $550,000.
It was one of 40 items in the Star Wars category, which also included a blaster gun used by the Biker Scouts"on the Forest Moon of Endor ($90,000). An axe used by the Ewoks sold for $11,000. Despite it's lofty auction price the Han Solo Blaster did not set the all-time record . In 2017, an R2-D2 unit from the Star Wars movies sold at auction for $2.76 million.
According to THIS Associated Press report, it was Ripley's Believe it or Not that scored the winning bid on the Solo Blaster.
