Guns N' Roses Smashing Records on Road + Youtube

via Forbes    The numbers don't lie. It's official,  Guns N' Roses “November Rainis now the first video from the 1990's to reach 1-Billion views. Despite the fact that it was released over 20 years before the youtube era began. “Sweet Child O' Mine" is also the most-viewed YouTube video for a song from the 1980's.

Their continued popularity and relevancy received a huge boost thanks to the Not in This Lifetime Tour kicked off over 2 years ago. Speaking of that incredibly successful operation, the tour itself continues with its ninth leg and is closing on in the $500-million mark. It would become only the 4th concert tour to ever accomplish that. They still have 30 dates booked between now and .....say it with me, November.Just last month they reached the plateau of fourth highest-grossing tour of all time. Falling just behind U2's 360, The Rolling Stones Bigger Bang and Coldplay's Headful of Dreams.  With the recently re-released Appetite For Destruction and all of it's bonus discs, it's safe to say, GNR's will continue to rack up these numbers in 2018.
