William Shatner has recorded some memorable tunes in his illustrious, 65+year-career. Notably that stellar take on The Beatles "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" and Elton John's "Rocketman" (see below).
Now Mr. Shatner sets his phasers to "Christmas" with classic covers like "Jingle Bells" , "Blue Christmas", Feliz Navidad" and many more. The album will be released on October 26, and will be available on CD and vinyl. Here's a list of some of the special guests that lend their talents to this festive outing. are ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons, Todd Rundgren, ex-Lynyrd Skynyrd drummer Artimus Pyle, The Cars' Elliot Easton, Yes keyboardist Rick Wakeman, Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson and Iggy Pop.
