Smokey and The Bandit Headed Back to Theaters

via deadlinehollywood    In honor of the late Burt Reynolds, (who passed away at age 82 last Thursday) approximately 240 AMC theaters across the country will run his classic Smokey and The Bandit on the big screen once again.  After its release, the film was a huge box office draw thanks to its star-studded cast and became the second-highest grossing movie of 1977, right behind Star Wars.  You can catch some more Fun Facts you probably didn't know about the movie above.

The limited screenings begin on Wednesday, Sept. 12th and run through through Thursday, Sept. 20.  Ticket prices will be $5 or lower, depending on the location. You can search area theaters and showtimes HERE
