Exciting news! I’ll be going back in recording studio in a few weeks with the boys to record 4 brand new Motley Crue tracks! Rock On!!— Vince Neil (@thevinceneil) September 13, 2018
via UCR Recent suspicions seem to have panned out for Motley Fans. Despite their farewell tour in 2015, the band never said they were retiring or breaking up. They did sign a formal Cessation of Touring, stating that they could never tour again as"Motley Crue". This week Vince Neil took to twitter to confirm what many had suspected; all four members would get back in the studio to work on new stuff. Bassist Nikki Sixx and Drummer Tommy Lee had posted some in-studio shots to instagram last week which led to the early speculation. It seems this new material will be released as part of the soundtrack to the upcoming bio flick, The Dirt. It is based on the 2001 best-selling biography about the band.
Sixx also hit the social media to put fanxiety(fan-anxiety) to rest:
You can trust us these are ball busters. Everybody can relax. Were soon gonna smack you upside the head with some killer new tracks. Bob Rock is producing. Its our movie. We know what were doing. 🤘🏼 https://t.co/QKaDCYKPwG— xxıS ıʞʞıN (@NikkiSixx) September 14, 2018
