Both are well seasoned on the topic and had interviewed Vaughan multiple times. They've also interviewed nearly 100 other people, those that knew him best. From Big Brother and biggest influence, Jimmie Vaughan to Chris Layton+ Tommy Shannon (his band mates in Double Trouble), crew, managers, family and friends. For the first time all in one, definitive book there is also first-hand accounts with his musical colleagues like Buddy Guy, B.B. King and Eric Clapton, Billy Gibbons, Joe Perry, Eric Johnson and Warren Haynes.
