via UCR After the news of an expanded box set edition of Bob Dylan's classic Blood On The Tracks came down the wire last month, now there's talk of a Film based on that iconic album. Tapped to direct is Luca Guadagnino, the Oscar-nominated talent behind 2017's Call Me by Your Name, also directed the upcoming horror remake Suspiria.
Over the Summer a 188-page screenplay was drafted and will center around the relationships and central themes of the Dylan album that some have called one of his most personal. He was going through a divorce at the time from wife Sara. In other "...on the tracks" news, a 6-disc Bootleg Series edition will be released on Nov. 2. The liner notes from this article read:
“On these tracks, we find Dylan – just a singer with a guitar and a harmonica and a batch of great songs – delivering performances that thrill you when they’re supposed to and break your heart when they need to. The performances are also in the purest state we’ve ever experienced them.”
